Preston Sands - Designated area for launching and landing is the far left end of the beach near the public toilets/slipway.
Watch out for the lights along the front when launching and landing at higher stages of tide as they can get in the way. Also surfers and bodyboarders like to use the swells when its up, close to the pier. Be aware that they're about and give plenty of room Other spots include Goodrington Beach for the same winds but a little more beach (not during the summer though) and Broadsands which faces NE so only really works N+NE about 2 hours after high tide when the beach reappears. | ||
