All this information comes from EXE Kiteboarders and is copied to ensure safety and adherence to rules for their beaches when visiting.

Exmouth Duck Pond - Safety Guidelines
- When tide permits, launch from the sand
- Do Not practice on the grass
- Keep at least 75m away from all embankments except when launching.
The Railway line lies just behind the eastern embankment
- Stay well clear of moorings, and the waterski area when in use
- Learn and abide by right of way rules
- Keep a safe distance from other water users
- Disable kites when not in use
- Keep the slipway clear
- Use a kite-leash and safety system, and ensure they work properly
- Please avoid the Eel-Grass exclusion zone (see map), where migrating birds feed and rest between October and November
- Do not disturb the birds at any time as this area is a nature reserven
- Seek advice from locals
- Read the local

Exmouth Seafront - Safety Guidelines
- The main navigation channel runs very near the beach. Please stay well clear of all vessels. Retreat to a safe area outside the navigation channel to allow approaching vessels to pass
- Learn and abide by maritime right of way rules
- Stay well clear of bathing areas when in use
- Do not practice on the beach
- Do not launch or land in crowded areas
- Disable kites when not in use
- Except when launching and landing, do not fly your kite over the beach, either when on the beach or when sailing
- Currents are very strong here. Seek advice from local kitesurfers
- The seafront is not for beginners
- Use a kite-leash and safety system and ensure they work properly
- Do not cross the road flying your kite
